Amazon mostly does a great job of handling billions of dollars’ worth of FBA stock, but up to 3% of it gets lost, damaged, destroyed or disposed of. So if you’re an FBA Seller, Amazon is damaging and losing your stock, and you’re losing out.
Unless, of course, you’re claiming your FBA reimbursements. You may not know that Amazon allows you time to claim reimbursements on lost stock. It reimburses the expected sale price (minus FBA fees), which means you make a profit, just like if it had sold to a consumer on Amazon.
