Avoid getting your Amazon account suspended: The dos and don’ts

Amazon can suspend your account without warning for the smallest reasons.

A client of ours was recently suspended for changing their bank account details without first talking to the Seller Support team.

If it happens, you need to take action fast, because having your account closed even for a short time can impact your sales. We were able to help our client quickly, but it’s much better to prevent your account being suspended in the first place.

Here’s a list of dos and don’ts to make sure it doesn’t happen to you.

During registration:

All the documents that are submitted MUST be identical to all the information entered in the Seller account during registration. Copies must be legible.

Use an internationally chargeable, valid credit card during registration.

Bank account statement must have been issued within the past 90 days.

Translated documents (if any) must show the seal or notarized statement of the translator.

Do not sell through multiple Seller accounts: i.e. selling the same products on two or more Seller accounts of the same person.
